Treatment offer

Basic therapeutic proposals:

• 2 weeks (13 therapeutic days) of intensive therapeutic program eliminating pain syndromes in case of slipped disks, sciatic neuralgia, pains of the spine or migraine headaches.
• 2-week therapeutic course after surgeries on organs of locomotion from the second stage of rehabilitation, namely standing training of the patient "making him/her do at least three steps on his/her own"
• rarely used in Poland, 1-week or 2-week program of rehabilitation before operation or 2-week program preceding procedures of hip or knee joint replacement
• 2 - 3-week program of intensive rehabilitation after strokes or cerebral embolisms.
• 1-week or 2-week program of biological regeneration and medically stimulated rest including treatment of cellulitis, silhouette shaping)
• 1-week cycles of nicotinism treatment - using, among others, acupuncture

For the elderly people without any age limit, in our clinic, we use a separate therapeutic program as well as treatments activating all reserves of the body and increasing fitness of the body and of the mind. We ensure a 24-hour medical care, the diet adapted to various needs of our patients, the unique microclimate of Bory Tucholskie with a possibility of its tourist penetration (we are permitted to enter Bory Tucholskie National Park).
We are striving to provide a homemade and pleasant atmosphere since we opened the clinic.

Our offer includes:

Hydrotherapy – a swimming pool with the temperature of 29 o C - 32 o C, where we perform original vertical gymnastics modeled after Druskienniki (the only one in Poland) with 120 rm of rails, handles, water beds and trapeziums.

• Halliwick method therapy – an extraordinary and unique method of hydrotherapy and learning to swim for the disabled, especially with disorders of neurological origin, hearing and eyesight, as well as with emotional disorders.
  
  In 2007 we introduced a new treatment method - HALLIWICK
  
  This method is aimed at people at every age. Classes take place in groups, however, every participant (swimmer) has an individual instructor that accompanies him/her at all times during classes. During the therapy, it is possible to discover and activate a new locomotive potential, often greater in the water environment than under the so-called normal conditions on the ground.
  
  THE METHOD TEACHES:
  -techniques of proper entering into and leaving a swimming pool by the disabled
  -well-being in water
  -achieving control and position of a safe deposit box breathing slowly in the pace adjusted to the swimmer,
   in a logical order, ensuring that all subsequent steps are improved
  -different ways of changing positions with the use of rotating techniques
  -we value joy and pleasure
  
  Learning leads to achieving possibly high independence and absolute sense of safety that is based on knowledge of the water environment and capabilities of free control of one's movements in it.
  
  Working with the use of the HALLIWICK method, the following therapeutic effects are obtained:
  - strengthening of the weakened groups of muscles
  - improvement of joint mobility
  - normalisation of muscle tension
  - reduction of locomotive disorders
  - improvement of the general psychophysical condition

Kinesiotaping - Elastic therapeutic sports tape
The method uses a tape of properties similar to the human skin - depending on the type of application it reduces pain, improves joint mobility, corrects improper joint position, supports muscle works, or it relaxes excessive muscle and skin tension, reduces swelling and lymphatic stasis.

Cryo-chamber
In 2005, the first Polish CRYO-CHAMBER using liquid air was opened. Why using liquid air? After all, all CRYO-CHAMBERS work using liquid nitrogen and it is fine! Liquid air is a carrier of super low temperatures (up to 160o C), and, at the same time, is the gas that surrounds us throughout the whole life. After all, we breathe this air. Liquid air is thus a factor completely a safe deposit box for humans. Even in extreme situations, the patient can only ventilate himself/herself. Thus, the CLINIC in Krojanty has selected a CRYO-CHAMBER using liquid air, owing to the total safety of people using it. 

The most important indications to use a CRYO-CHAMBER of extremely low temperatures are as follows.

 

• chronic and severe pains of cervical and lumbosacral spine
• heumatic disorders (any pains and diseases of joints)
• multiple sclerosis (MS)
• any post-traumatic conditions, overload conditions and inflammation of the locomotor system psoriatic arthritis
• gouty diathesis (podagra)
• primary and secondary osteoporosis
• paresis and contractures of limbs (e.g. after strokes and cerebral infraction)
• cellulitis and OVERWEIGHT
• biological regeneration (e.g. smoothening of wrinkles)

Cold helps also to get rid of insomnia and headaches as well as it slows down ageing processes of the organism.

NOVELTY

FIRST IN POLAND - SALINE CAPSULE – The clinic is equipped with a capsule the with salt solution identical as in the Dead Sea. A bath in the salt solution gives you the feeling of full relaxation - it helps to decrease muscle tension. Combined with relaxing music, it eliminates states of chronic fatigue, reduces anxiety and depressive states.  
Thanks to a special skin moistening, it positively affects wrinkles and skin scars, acne in teenagers and adults, and psoriasis.
